The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) and the visiting New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), saw Norwalk's baseball team get by New Fairfield by a tally of 3-2.
The Bears (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Newtown was tipped by Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 11-10, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 9. New Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Blue Wave enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT).
