In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Putnam County Midgets baseball team scored a close 7-2 victory over the Tri-County Mustangs.

The Midgets (11-1) will now prepare for their game against Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Wolverines enter the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Maysville held off Milan (Milan, MO), 15-12, in a non-league game.

Next, the Mustangs face the Novinger Wildcats (Novinger, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 11. Tri-County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
