The Turpin Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Sycamore Aviators to 8 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Walnut Hills for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9.
With the defeat, Sycamore drops to 2-3 on the year. The Aviators host Middletown (Middletown, OH) to play the Middies in a Greater Miami test on Wednesday, April 9. The Middies go into the test with a record of 0-3. Middletown lost 14-2 in their recent league test against Hamilton (Hamilton, OH)
