Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 17-5 in a league game.

With the victory, Esperanza improves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Foothill (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Knights in a Crestview game on Tuesday, April 22. The Knights come into the game with a record of 14-1.

The Vanguards now have a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to California for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 15. El Modena will face a Condors squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Centennial (Corona, CA). The Condors record now stands at 5-9.
