In Tuesday's league test, the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), by a count of 17-3.
Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a South West test, on Thursday, April 10. Newtown will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the test with a 2-0 record after their 11-2 league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT).
The Red Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Wildcats enter the South West test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Bethel topped Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 11-8, in a league test.
