In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) soccer team routed the visiting Westover Patriots (Albany, GA), by a count of 10-1.
Next, the Knights battle the Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 3 contest, on Friday, April 11. Deerfield-Windsor will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Brookwood (Thomasville, GA).
The Patriots (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Albany, GA). The Golden Tornadoes enter the 3A Region 1 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Monroe was overwhelmed by Lanier County (Lakeland, GA), 7-0, in a non-league contest.
