Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) and the visiting Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), saw Duncan's soccer squad hold off Elgin by a count of 1-0.

The Demons (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Highlanders enter the 5A District 1 battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, MacArthur tipped Noble (Noble, OK), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Owls confront the Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK) in a 5A District 1 battle, on Friday, April 11. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 5-0 league loss to Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK).
