St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, St. Pius X moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Union (Union, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-3. Union lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Granite City (Granite City, IL)

The Hawks now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. Gibault Catholic will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Freeburg (Freeburg, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.
