The Sandia Matadors baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Albuquerque Bulldogs to 2 in the Matadors non-league win on Tuesday.

The Matadors now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Rancho for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. Sandia will play a Rams team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Rams record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Albuquerque moves to 4-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 9. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 1-8. West Mesa lost 12-7 in their recent non-league match against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
