The Frankford Pioneers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Carver High School of Engineering & Science to 2 in the Pioneers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Samuel Fels for a test on Friday, April 11. Frankford will play a Panthers team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Carver High School of Engineering & Science drops to 0-1 on the year. The travel to Central (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 1-3. Central lost 13-0 in their recent non-league test against Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA)
