Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Karns Beavers (Knoxville, TN) and the visiting Powell Panthers (Powell, TN), saw Karns's soccer squad hold off Powell by a count of 1-0.

The Beavers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Governors enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, William Blount was edged by Farragut (Knoxville, TN), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 11. Powell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN).
