The Abingdon Falcons softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting John Battle Trojans to 3 in the Falcons non-league win on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christiansburg for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Abingdon will confront a Blue Demons team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, John Battle moves to 1-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lee (Jonesville, VA) to confront the Generals in a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. The Generals come into the battle with a record of 4-5. Lee won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA)
