Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT), 7-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Sentinels travel to Wasatch (Heber City, UT) to play the Wasps in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. The Wasps enter the game with a record of 1-3. Wasatch lost 15-8 in their recent non-league game against Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT)

The Buffaloes now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Jordan for a non-league game on Friday, April 11. Tooele will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-4.
