The Amity Regional Spartans triumphed over the visiting Branford Hornets lacrosse team by a tally of 9-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Spartans play the Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) in a Southern Connecticut game, on Tuesday, April 15. Amity Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans come into the Southern Connecticut game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Lyman Hall was overwhelmed by Guilford (Guilford, CT), 13-1, in a league game.
