In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Schuylerville Horses lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-8 triumph over the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans.

The Horses (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 2 Foothills contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, South Glens Falls was overwhelmed by Queensbury (Queensbury, NY), 12-7, in a league contest.

Next, the Spartans meet the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gold contest, on Thursday, April 10. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Brothers go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY).
