In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Classical Purple lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-1 triumph over the Cranston East Thunderbolts.

The Purple (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the Division 4 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, East Providence was overwhelmed by Scituate (North Scituate, RI), 13-5, in a league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbolts clash with the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 4 challenge, on Friday, April 11. Cranston East will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Chieftains go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 11-5 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI).
