The East Greenwich Avengers lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the host Smithfield Sentinels to 4 in the Avengers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Avengers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cumberland for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14.
With the loss, Smithfield falls to 0-3 on the year. The Sentinels host South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. South Kingstown lost 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI)
