In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting West Orange Mountaineers lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 triumph over the Eastern Christian Eagles.

The Mountaineers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Knights go into the Dowling challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Bergen Tech was nipped by Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ), 6-5, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ) in a Dowling challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Eastern Christian will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 6-2 league win over Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ).
