In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Glenbrook North Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-7 triumph over the Maine South Hawks.
The Spartans (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears go into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lake Zurich held off Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks clash with the Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Maine South will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 17-10 non-league win over Huntley (Huntley, IL).
