In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting North Cross Raiders lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 triumph over the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints.

The Raiders (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles go into the VISAA Division 2 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, The Covenant was nipped by Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA), 16-10, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints clash with the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Tidewater Independent challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 12-11 league loss to Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA).
