Georgia High School Soccer - Lamar County held off by First Presbyterian Day

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA) soccer team edged the host Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Vikings face the Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA) in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 6 contest, on Thursday, April 10. First Presbyterian Day will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-7 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Gatewood (Eatonton, GA).
The Trojans (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Gryphons enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Academy for Classical Education held off Central (Macon, GA), 7-0, in a league contest.
