With the triumph, Murray County advances its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a 2A Area 7 test on Tuesday, April 15. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 7-5. North Murray won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Pickens (Jasper, GA)

The Panthers now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ringgold for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. Ridgeland will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-2 non-league Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
