The Mustangs now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Ooltewah for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 10. Walker Valley will play a Owls squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN). The Owls record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Rhea County moves to 4-7 on the year. The Golden eagles host Cleveland (Cleveland, TN) to play the Blue Raiders in a AAA District 5 bout on Friday, April 11. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Cleveland won 9-0 in their recent league bout against McMinn County (Athens, TN)
