In Tuesday's non-league test, the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Annawan-Wethersfield Titans (Kewanee, IL), by a tally of 16-0.
Next, the Grey Ghosts meet the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) in a Illini Prairie test, on Wednesday, April 9. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Saints go into the test with a 9-3 record after their 17-7 non-league win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL).
The Titans (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Putnam County toppled Somonauk (Somonauk, IL), 5-2, in a non-league test.
