California High School Softball - Oxford Academy succumbs to Artesia

April 8, 2025: Cypress, CA 90630

In Tuesday's league test, the Artesia Pioneers (Lakewood, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA), by a tally of 28-6.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Glenn Eagles (Norwalk, CA) in a 605 test, on Friday, April 11. Artesia will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 8-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Pioneer (Whittier, CA).

The Patriots (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Portola (Irvine, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Portola was routed by Northwood (Irvine, CA), 16-5, in a league test.
