The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) and the host Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX), observed Carthage's softball team notch a victory over Tatum by a final score of 10-0.

The Bulldogs (18-5) will now prepare for their bout against Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region II District 16 bout with a 9-15 record. In their last bout, Pine Tree gained a win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX), 16-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Tatum will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record.
