The LeRoy Panthers softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heyworth for a Heart of Illinois battle on Wednesday, April 9. LeRoy will confront a Hornets team coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Havana (Havana, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Cerro Gordo/Bement moves to 3-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 9. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Warrensburg-Latham lost 10-6 in their recent league battle against Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL)
