The Claiborne Christian Crusaders overwhelmed the visiting Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders meet the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Claiborne Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 16-14 record after their 9-7 league win over Pineville (Pineville, LA).
The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Homer (Homer, LA). The Pelicans go into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Homer was routed by Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA), 16-3, in a non-league challenge.
