The Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS) softball routed the visiting Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), 12-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seminary for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Columbia will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Raleigh (Raleigh, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Lawrence County moves to 14-9 on the season. The Cougars host West Marion (Foxworth, MS) to confront the Trojans in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 17-3. West Marion lost 6-2 in their recent non-league battle against Purvis (Purvis, MS)
