Washington, DC High School Softball - Georgetown Day can't get by St. Stephen's & St. Agnes

The St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints edged the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Saints play the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.
The Mighty Hoppers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The Gators enter the challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart was nudged by Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD), 14-3, in a non-league challenge.
