Minnesota High School Softball - Zumbrota-Mazeppa sneaks past Lourdes

The Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Lourdes Eagles to 6 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stewartville for a Hiawatha Valley battle on Thursday, April 10. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Lourdes moves to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles host Pine Island (Pine Island, MN) to confront the Panthers in a Hiawatha Valley battle on Thursday, April 10. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Pine Island won 10-1 in their recent league battle against Hayfield (Hayfield, MN)
