Illinois High School Softball - Marist bounces Mother McAuley

In Tuesday's non-league bout, the host Marist RedHawks softball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs.
The RedHawks (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Shepard knocked off Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 14-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Mighty Macs battle the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) in a GCAC- Red bout, on Thursday, April 10. Mother McAuley will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Celtics go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
