The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) and the visiting Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN), observed Orono's softball team prevail over Minnehaha Academy by a tally of 13-3.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks go into the Metro West bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Chaska was routed by Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Red Hawks clash with the St. Agnes Aggies (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Minnehaha Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Aggies go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN).
