The Ridgefield Tigers softball squad (Ridgefield, CT), was routed 16-4 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT)

With the triumph, New Milford improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Green Wave host Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 9. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Shepaug Valley won 22-4 in their recent league contest against Housatonic (Falls Village, CT)

The Tigers now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Brookfield for a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. Ridgefield will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
