The Westby Norsemen softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Royall Panthers to 2 in the Norsemen non-league win on Tuesday.

The Norsemen now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcadia for a Coulee battle on Monday, April 14.

With the loss, Royall moves to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers host New Lisbon (New Lisbon, WI) to confront the Rockets in a Scenic Bluffs battle on Thursday, April 10. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 2-0. New Lisbon won 18-8 in their recent league battle against Wonewoc-Center (Wonewoc, WI)
