In Wednesday's non-league game, the host DeKalb Tigers baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Linn County Mustangs.
The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against South Holt (Oregon, MO). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, South Holt nudged South Nodaway (Barnard, MO), 12-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Mustangs play the Green City Gophers (Green City, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 14. Linn County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
