In Wednesday's league game, the host Dixie Heights Colonels baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Ludlow Panthers.

The Colonels (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Newport Central Catholic was overwhelmed by Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY), 11-8, in a non-league game.

Next, the Panthers face the Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 13. Ludlow will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Villa Madonna (Covington, KY).
