Massachusetts High School Softball - Beverly bounces Winthrop

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) and the visiting Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), observed Beverly's softball team get by Winthrop by a tally of 7-3.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains go into the Northeast- Dunn bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Masconomet Regional tipped Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA), 11-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) in a Northeast- Lynch bout, on Friday, April 10. Winthrop will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
