Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), 8-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Gloucester improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Fishermen travel to Salem (Salem, MA) to play the Witches in a Northeast- Lynch game on Thursday, April 9. The Witches enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Falcons now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Masconomet Regional for a Northeast- Dunn game on Wednesday, April 15.
