The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) and the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), observed Thomas Stone's softball team notch a victory over Lackey by a final score of 18-8.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, St. Charles was routed by Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 19-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, April 10. Lackey will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 5-2 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
