The St. Francis Spartans crushed the visiting Batavia Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 12-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Andrew for a non-league bout on Monday, April 11. St. Francis will face a Thunderbolts team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Monday, April 11. Batavia will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
