In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Bullard Panthers baseball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Van Vandals.
The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region II District 16 game with a 17-5 record. In their last game, Henderson tipped Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX), 16-0, in a league game.
The Vandals (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Athens (Athens, TX). The Hornets go into the 4A Region II District 14 game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Athens was overwhelmed by Wills Point (Wills Point, TX), 4-3, in a league game.
