The Davenport Wolves baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Gonzales Apaches to 4 in the Wolves non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wolves (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Bandera (Bandera, TX). The BULLDOGS go into the 4A Region IV District 28 match with a 4-14 record. In their last match, Bandera was overwhelmed by Wimberley (Wimberley, TX), 12-1, in a league match.

The Apaches (8-8) will now prepare for their match against La Vernia (La Vernia, TX). The Bears go into the 4A Region IV District 27 match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, La Vernia was overwhelmed by El Campo (El Campo, TX), 6-5, in a non-league match.
