Massachusetts High School Baseball - Shrewsbury defeats Minnechaug Regional

Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA) backers went home happy Saturday as they saw their baseball squad knock off the visiting Minnechaug Regional Falcons (Wilbraham, MA), 8-2 in a non-league battle.

Coming up next, the Colonials play the Algonquin Regional Tomahawks (Northborough, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett A battle, on Tuesday, April 12. Shrewsbury will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

The Falcons now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league battle on Monday, April 11. Minnechaug Regional will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Northampton (Northampton, MA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
