The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) and the visiting Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), saw Riverside-Brookfield's volleyball squad nip Carmel by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Riverside-Brookfield upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Palatine (Palatine, IL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Palatine won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL)

The Corsairs now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mundelein for a non-league test on Saturday, April 9. Carmel will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
