The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors topped the host South El Monte Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gahr for a non-league test on Saturday, April 9. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Downey (Downey, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 3-14.
The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their test against El Monte (El Monte, CA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, El Monte was knocked off by San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
