In Saturday's league test, the host Alcoa Tornadoes lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 victory over the Science Hill Hilltoppers.
The Tornadoes now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sevier County for a TN East 2 game on Thursday, April 14. Alcoa will encounter a Smoky Bears team coming off a 20-6 league loss to Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN). The Smoky Bears record now stands at 1-5.
The Hilltoppers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles enter the TN East 2 game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Seymour was nudged by Harriton (Rosemont, PA), 15-6, in a non-league game.
