The Notre Dame Prep Saints baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Salpointe Catholic Lancers to 9 in the Saints non-league victory on Saturday.
The Saints (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Jaguars go into the match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Desert Ridge edged Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ), 9-6, in a league match.
The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados go into the match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Canyon del Oro was overwhelmed by Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ), 12-8, in a league match.
