The Bexley Lions lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the host Oakwood Lumberjacks to 10 in the Lions league win on Saturday.
The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH). The Johnnies go into the Region 7 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Johnstown-Monroe was nudged by Licking Valley (Newark, OH), 9-8, in a league match.
The Lumberjacks (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Chaminade-Julienne (Dayton, OH). The Eagles go into the Region 7 match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Chaminade-Julienne nudged St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH), 15-14, in a non-league match.
