Longwood Lions (Middle Island, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY), 10-1 in a league battle.
The Lions now own a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 11. Walt Whitman will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Churchill (Potomac, MD).
